Danielle Ingalls grew up in central Minnesota and had the joy of being a “country girl/farm kid”.  She graduated from Ogilvie High School, and then moved to the St. Paul area to attend Bethel University.  At Bethel, she studied Child Development, and later attended Anoka Hennepin-Technical College for Professional Photography & Child Development.

Danielle has always had a heart for kids and couldn’t wait to be old enough to babysit.  She worked her way through college with nannying jobs, and then transitioned to a full-time Nanny/Home Manager with many families over the years.  She also started a photography business, which has focused on family portraits, wedding photography, and videography projects.  Her favorite work has been capturing God’s stories—through photo and video--for non-profit ministry organizations on short-term missions trips around the world.

Her passion for kids to know how much God loves them has brought her from volunteering in church nurseries & special events, to leading small groups at Awana, to now having the privilege of serving as Children’s Ministries Director here at Heartland.  As director, she oversees all programs for infants up to middle-school aged kids.  She says “There is no greater joy than seeing these little ones seeking Jesus, hiding God’s Word in their hearts, and sharing His love with those around them.”

Danielle is married to Jonathan and is Mommy to two children—Isabella and Caleb.  She loves spending time with her family—especially enjoying God’s beautiful creation outdoors on a bike ride, nature walk, or fishing out on the lake.  Her favorite color is yellow, and she loves sunshine, palm trees, and smiles.
