Key Idea: Jesus is the surprising and fitting fulfillment of every Old Testament expectation
3 Expectations from Zechariah that are fulfilled in Jesus:
The coming shepherd was expected to have a special connection to God (Zechariah 12:10a)
The coming shepherd was expected to bring sorrow and repentance (Zechariah 12:10b-12:14)
The coming shepherd was expected to cleanse from sin and uncleanness (Zechariah 13:1)
